To visualize the extent of media penetration in Afghanistan, we processed the results of the 6,648 interviews conducted for Altai's media survey.
View and download the data below in tabular format, separated by media type and listed by province. Population information is from the Central Statistics Organization, and unavailable percentages appear for the following provinces where interviews where not allowed with women: Wardak, Paktya, Kunar, Helmand, Zabul, Uruzgan.

All maps are powered by MapBox Hosting and can be accessed through simple RESTful API calls returning JSON documents.
